WILD BIRDS

Wild Birds are a collective of dancing, moving, feeling, attentive, sensitive, alive and ordinary bodyminds, who are cultivating creative and research-oriented ways of working through artistic, research and educational activities in the field of contemporary dance and movement. Our way of working roots in the regular physical practice(s) and draws inspiration from the fine attunement with one's own physicality and the pure joy for movement and dance.

ARTISTIC PRACTICE AND TEACHING

Exhausting the body so that the emptied can fill itself up again. Diving into high dynamic situations, cultivating athleticism, virtuosity, full-bodymind engagement, chasing the joy of movement. Taking time. For fine tuning, presence, awareness of the space within and around and in between, paying attention to relation, subtlety, detail. Dancing, full heart, any mood. Working with complexity and chaos, trying to understand and follow the natural order of things. Enjoying liveliness of interactions and experience, day in, day out.
